Texas Hold ‘Em

The most popular form of poker, this game involves playing with two hole cards, which lay face down and are available only to the controlling player, and five community cards, which are laid face up and are available to each player. The aim of the game is to get the best hand of five cards using cards from both the hole and community card sets.

Omaha

This is a close relative to Texas Hold ‘Em, only this time each player receives four hole cards and has to use two of them to create their hand. Omaha is available in Omaha Hi/Lo formats, where players aim to create the best highest or lowest hands, and then split the pot between them.

Stud Poker

Stud poker is available as both five card stud and seven card stud, where either five or seven cards are dealt to each player. Players are given face up and face down cards with which to form a hand, with the face up cards providing clues as to the strength of the available hands in the game.

Five Card Draw

A favourite amongst beginners, Five Card Draw is one of the easiest poker games to learn. Bluffing is an important part of the game as no cards are visible from which to guess as to the strength of your fellow players’ hands. In Five Card Draw, each player is dealt a full poker hand and can then request new cards only once.
